Theta Chi Delta Psi

The Gallery has been updated with photos from this year’s Rock Chalk Revue.

Theta Chi Fraternity and Sigma Kappa Sorority partnered up together to create “Disco Nights” in this year’s Rock Chalk Revue!  The show took home two awards that included: Best Preshow Video and Best Supporting Actor (Nick Templin)!  Now we wait anxiously as the sororities decide who to serenade for partners for the upcoming year.  Pictures from this year’s show will be up soon. - Brother Fales 

A few things:

Firstly, the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi and the men of Theta Chi took 1ST PLACE in Homecoming this year!!!  After many grueling hours of pomping and building, we took home the gold.

Secondly, on October 4th, Theta Chi put on the Fisher-Price Classic Philanthropy, a low-hoop basketball tournament benefitting Toys for Tots.  We raised $500 and can’t wait until next year to do it again!

Lastly, pictures from Homecoming and the philanthropy have been added to the Gallery.

I’ve expanded the width of the webpage. The main purpose of this is so that the roster will fit on the page properly. It wasn’t formatting correctly into the window. If you have any complaints about the size please let me know.

Rock Chalk Revue Update: I’ve been getting a bunch of requests for the songs we are singing in Rock Chalk. I’ve put them into a zipped file and you can download them by clicking here. You will need the program WinRar to extract the songs, you can download that by clicking here.

Everyone has been getting back to the house, noticing the changes and getting back into the mood for classes.  It was time to get back, the break is a long time to be away from your brothers.  With the start of the semester comes the beginning of Rock Chalk practices, which can be daunting when you think how much dancing we’ll have to do.  Last year it was a lot of fun and it should be much of this same this time around.  You always have to remember that Rock Chalk is for the United Way, if you have any questions about everything that is going on send us an email.

I’ll be making some changes to the layout of the website over the next few days as well, so if it becomes unavailable this is why.

Hey guys, great job so far on everything, but remember, we’re only halfway through so far. We need more guys actually helping on pomping stuff, instead of just walking around. If you don’t want to help, try not to just hang out not doing anything, so that it doesn’t encourage other people to do the same. Also, try to make sure that whatever music we’re listening to or movies we’re watching are something the girls can get into as well. The Alpha Chis are by far the best house we have done Homecoming with, at least in the last 5 years. We’re within reach of winning the entire thing, we just need to stay focused for three more days!

Gallery - Check out the Gallery button on the top or sidebar of the page to view the section.  The images automatically resize to your browser size, to maximize the image there is a button in the bottom right-hand corner of the picture to click on.  You can move the image about the page as you choose as well.

Calendar - I’ve also embedded the Google Calendar to the website.  You can view it by clicking on the link above.

Misc Other - I’ve added moved most of the Theta Chi information from the previous webpage to this.  I’ll have the rest finished in a few days.

Well finally here it is, the new website. First of all the important stuff. If you are a member of new member of Theta Chi, please go to the forums and register. If you are interested in joining, please send me an email at pjb0404@gmail.com.

The website will be changing a lot as well, I’m going to be re-adding the pages about recruitment information, alumni information, member directory, awards, creed, etc…

If you have any suggestions about the website please let me know. If you have some useful links to add to the navigation bar or something like that then let me know. The forum has many sections if believe more need to be added just email me.
